All About Joan

I have been married for 33 years to a loving, caring man that I have known since my senior year in high school.  We dated for 3 ½ years and were married in Charleston, South Carolina.  My husband served in the Navy for 4 years and during that time we started a family and now have 2 daughters and a son.  All three children are now married to wonderful men and woman! I have 5 beautiful grandchildren that keeps me on my toes!

What I love: 

·        I love all the seasons but spring is my favorite season because of the spring flowers bursting through showing me winter is over!
·     We are in a new season in life- empty Nestor's and loving it!

·      I love my grandchildren and love to spoil them with kisses and hugs!

·        I am a lover of scrap booking and card making.

·        I  love Christian praise and worship music.

·        I enjoy playing the piano.

·        I like to keep things organized! 

·        I love the color purple and wear a lot of it!

·        I love to play volleyball.

·        I love snow skiing.

·        I love my  2 labs.
·        I love being a twin.

·        I love camping.

·        I liked to be called Joani.
·      I love fresh fallen snow!  It reminds me of Psalm 51:7 "Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me and I will be whiter than snow."

I am a daughter to godly parents who loved me deeply.

I am a sister of ten siblings.

I am a wife to an amazing husband.

I am a mother to three beautiful children.
I am a grandmother  of 7, and love to hold and hug my grandchildren!

I am an aunt to many, many, many nieces and nephews.

I am a friend to those who accept me just as I am.
